Had the best time watching @jayrellis perform a portion of his book, “Did Everyone Have an Imaginary Friend (Or Just Me?): Adventures in Boyhood.”⁣

His memoir is a love letter to the 1990s. I mean, it was the best decade. Word to Wu-Tang. ⁣

In the book, we get to meet Jay’s imaginary friend Mikey and all the trouble he gets into along the way, like slamming a stapler on his hand because he was crushing on his teacher. (He wanted her attention. 🤣)⁣

Congratulations to the @summitacademycs class of 2024, these students started the 9th grade in The Pandora. ⁣

It was the first time parents couldn’t share a boring story about how they survived the same situation in high school. 🤣😩 ⁣
⁣
But these students…⁣
⁣
They showed up with character. ⁣
They showed up to master core subjects. ⁣
They showed up with resilience. ⁣
⁣
And they survived the pandemic and online school. ⁣
⁣
I’m super proud of these young people who are off to college and the Air Force. ⁣
⁣
I was honored to be their keynote speaker. And I reminded them that they have the tools to navigate change and challenges… because life be life-ing.
