Remember that time you screwed up?
Remember that time you cheated?
Remember that time you spazzed out?
Apologize. Say I’m sorry once and be sincere.
S/he may not accept it.
Either way, you’ll deal.
Know this: I applaud you for owing up to messing up.
Oh, and forgiveness is not always about the other person, it helps to free you from the pain too.
